I came across this line from Robert Frost’s Poem “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening”. And this poem helped me come up with the concept for our 1st FYI photo shoot that is coming up this weekend. We wanted to capture the beauty of the wintry woods of Rock Creek Park and show how amazing the trees are after all the leaves had fallen. When looking at the woods it seems as though everything is dead but the reality of it is that life still remains! I love how the earth transitions from season to season, it’s such a reminder of how life is forever changing.
We have been in planning mode since last year, trying to come up with a theme, make-up, hair, wardrobe and most importantly where to capture all of this. I didn’t have any idea of where to shoot until I gave the poem to the photographer and he suggested Rock Creek Park. Perfect spot!
I wanted to share a few of our practice make-up shoots that we did with Jalissa our FABULOUS GAL that will be modeling for us! This is the first of many photo shoots that we will be doing! Next week we will post the final work–so be sure to sign up for our blog if you haven’t already done so!! Enjoy!
