Fabulous Fitness Friday – FATLESS Challenge Weighin

As K. Marie stated yesterday, all the ladies have weighed in and the trashing talking has started.  I say to you all let the friendly competition begin and the best trash talker win!!!

For awhile now K. Marie has been asking me to take her to the store and show her how to properly shop for healthy foods which is really key in meeting your weight loss goals.  I have been saying to people for quite some time weight loss is 80% diet, 10% exercise, and 10% genetics therefore for all the individuals taking part in the fatless challenge the key is how and what you eat.  Making good food choices at grocery stores and restaurants can be hard and sometimes we all fall off the wagon. However  making simple changes, such as watching nutrients — saturated fats, sodium, fiber and sugar — and cutting back on certain ingredients and portion sizes can go a long way toward creating a good diet. Even if you don’t make good choices every time, better options exist that won’t bust your diet such as high-sugar, high-fat and low-fiber choices.  All of which will continue to leave Fatty stuck in unsightly places that we want to get rid of.  I suggest fresh fruit and veggies, lean meat, whole grains, etc. to get you on the road to healthy weight loss and living.
